Who does not like to receive gifts? They bring more meaning when thoughtfully chosen by the people around us. The bronze show piece of Lord Shiva included in this post was gifted to me by previous team mates. This happened when I moved internally to a different team at work around mid January. The choice of this gift was indeed a surprise for me. Now this is the center of attraction in my showcase at home! The more I look at this, that much more the mind calms down. Thanks to Kartikay and rest of the folks involved in zeroing on this awesome gift 🙂
On the occasion of ‘Shiv Ratri’ thought of sharing this with all my readers. If you are planning to gift any of your friends, colleagues or relatives, you may get some creative thoughts 🙂
On this auspicious occasion may the blessings of Lord Shiva be with all of you. May his glorious divine and merciful attributes remind us of our own abilities and strive to lift ourselves to new heights. Happy Shiva Ratri.

Some times we accumulate by way of gifts so many God ‘Vigrahas’ that they hardly get space for display.
Mohan says
I agree with you to some extent… I can always make more space for such special gifts 🙂
pramod says
rightly said Mohan ji, but some people give away things they don’t like, or have received as gifts. it’s an art,o of which very less people are masters.
Mohan says
I have been pretty lucky on that front 🙂
