California is blessed with a diverse geography and is known variously as The Land of Milk and Honey, The El Dorado State, The Golden State and The Grape State. Exploring California to the fullest on a short visit is not easy! With whatever the little time I had, made a trip to most of the places around San Francisco Bay area. The drive from Cupertino through Santa Cruz to Half Moon bay along Route 1 was indeed memorable. This photo was clicked from one of the beach view points over Cabrillo Highway.
The wind was too chill to hang out for long though it was noon when we were passing by. If you are heading there around christmas season, be prepared for cold weather. All along route 1, the view is very scenic as pacific ocean to one side and the greenish mountains to the other are a feast for the first time visitor! Driving is indeed a pleasure on this route as the traffic would be very sparse. We took a detour from Half Moon bay towards Woodside Hills.

This was like a teaser. Lovely pic, and tempting writeup describing your impressions. Had really thought I would find a lot of details and observations like you usually put out in your posts about places you have been to or have lived in. I am guessing that post is on its way.
Mohan says
You got it Subhorup! Well, since i am getting back to writing mode, starting with smaller ones with crisp details. Will surely plan for a detailed articles π
