Today I have started again with my good old habit of reading books. For the 3rd time I am starting to read “It’s Not About the Bike” all over again. This book is an autobiography of Lance Armstrong. There is a reason to pick this book to read again and again. Recently, I went through the complete medical check up sponsored by Yahoo! as a part of employee benefits. I go through this kind of check up every year and every time the reports were normal. This year, I have been diagnosed with high cholesterol content in my blood. There could be several reasons for this high number. Anyways, I know the causes and started working on those to bring it back to normal.
I have decided to cut down on the following in my food habits:
- Stop in take of non-veg food items – if not stop, reduce it to once a month
- No more sweets until the cholesterol levels reach normal limits
- Focus on healthy diet with more of vegetables and fruits
Along with that, I have also started working out in the mornings which was a kind of forgotten routine since past 3+ months. I am sure that my numbers will be in GREEN in another couple of months and I shall focus on maintaining at that level there after! Wish me all the best 🙂

Hi Tejinder, nothing to worry about. Just keep a watch of your food habits and everything will be in control soon. Stay positive that is more important. All the best.
