Megamart outlet was inaugurated a couple of weeks back near my home. If you aren’t familiar with this name here is a small info about it – Megamart is a pioneer in value retailing and the retail arm of India’s largest integrated textile manufacturer and a leading branded apparel & retailer. Megamart belongs the Arving Ltd. Before coming up with an outlet in Bangalore, they have established themselves in the other two Indian cities, namely, Chennai and Pune. I got to figure out that Megamart has a network of 115 Megamart stores spread across 42 cities in India along with 3 Megamart outlets in Chennai, Pune and Bangalore.
I visited this outlet last sunday and here is my review. This outlet is located next to Deve Gowda petrol pump, Banashankari 3rd Stage. The store is really big! Spread across 4 floors with an area of 60,000 sq ft of retail space. This outlet certainly has the widest range of categories including men, women and kids wear, accessories, luggage, footwear, cosmetics, electronics and lot more. I learned from the store info guide that the premises has over 200 top Indian and international brands to delight the customers. Some of the prominent brands I could spot in this outlet include like Allen Solly, Adidas, Arrow, Citizen, Color Plus, Dockers, Titan, Giodorno, Indian Terrain, Lee, Levis, Louis Phillipe, Nike, Park Avenue, Reebok, Scullers, Van Heusen, Wrangler and many more international brands at unbelievable prices and offers. As the mall has started recently, they are offering ‘mega discounts’ for this Diwali and through out the year. These discounts are certainly crazy.. goes on from offers like buy 1 get 1 free on most of the jeans wear to buy 5 get 5 free on branded clothes of Reid and Tailor, Allen Solly, Peter England etc.,
The top floor was empty. Looks like they are planning to have a food-court and an entertainment zone at this outlet. Apart from that floor all other floors were flooded with customers all over the outlet. It was literally suffocating inside and even parking space is very limited. Weekends are certainly not the appropriate days to visit this place. Plan to visit on some week day so that you can avoid the mad crowd and you can spend some quality time in selecting the best among the best brands. With over 200 of the best brands on fabulous discounts, the new Megamart Outlet Centre is all set to completely delight the trendy and value conscious Bangalore customers.
Megamart is also running fantastic festival offers across the week and other fabulous purchase based freebies like a free Cherokee watch, an attractive Ruggers travel bag and also a chance to win a Maruti Swift. Go enjoy shopping and feel lucky in the festive season 🙂

Nice to know that. May be that I visited when the shop was just inaugurated by then and too many people were checking out the store. Surely will pay a visit again sometime soon and update my findings! Thanks for sharing your views though 🙂

Hi
I just visited the store a couple of days back. I think it’s much more organised than other Value retail stores. The merchandising and variety was surprisingly very up-market and quite refreshing. All it currently lacks is a food court and once that’s up im sure it’ll be a hang out spot for the youth.
