Silver Metro at Total Mall

Silver Metro restaurant at Total mall is a good option for tasty food at economical price. Today we visited that restaurant on the occassion of my friend Nachiket’s birthday. Nachiket and Shweta gave a party to all of us.. number was really big.. 34 in all. We reached the restaurant around 1:30pm and it was crowded as usual. Silver Metro is located in 3rd floor of the Total Shopping mall near Silk Board junction. The theme is based on the Metro train system that will hit Bangalore in near future. On both the sides, you have the interior architecture to resemble that of a train. Including the seating, roof, glass panes etc., Overall it is a nice cozy place.

We opted for buffet lunch. Food variety was good for both vegetarians and non veggies. This included soup, a whole bunch of starters of Indian and chinese cuisines. I opted for chicken tomyom soup. Fish fry was very delicious, so were the other items. Main course included Ghost dumm biryani and a wide range of noodle items apart from regular rotis and rice. Desserts included a couple of fruits with ice cream and again a series of sweets. Supporting staff were very kind and friendly. Full marks for ambience, cleanliness of the premises and courteous staff. Charges per head was around Rs 300/- per head. Though it was my very first visit to this Silver Metro restaurant, I would strongly recommend this place if you are planning for lunch… Total value for money.

Nice post. Well yes, this is my favourite eatout for weekends. You can take your family along to this place and no bad crowd… thumbs up for Silver Metro!

You may want to try the other restaurant on the same floor on total mall, it is called Zingaro or something like that.

I think i have been here….i was referred by one of my cousins to check this place…….we enjoyed the buffet……though the best buffet i believe is Barbeque-Nation………but that’s isn’t that good on my pocket……..

this is a good alternative to it….

Well, I had been to Barbeque nation as well. They fill you with starters itself, hardly left with any space for rest of the course ;)
My vegitarian friends were not impressed by Barbeque Nation offerings :(
