Journey of Life
An endless journey is the journey of life
Signs we pass by teach us lessons
Few rules and principles not followed
Blunders committed and loss of dear ones
All of a sudden we come across a stretch
An ecstatic moment, a pleasant sight
Green lush pastures, sun shining bright
Rivers flowing, bathing the naked rocks
Beautiful trees with tender blooming buds
Birds flying to unknown destinations
Over the vast valleys and vast oceans
Behold there lies, my one and only love,
Resting her head in my lap,
Oh! how I wish this journey never ends?
But alas our paths will diverge
Coz waiting for us are other accomplishments.
No matter what comes in between,
If there is hope in our hearts
The hardest of paths can be turned into a
Carpet of flowers and a journey of dreams.
